iPad’s default background.

I still use the original iPad background on mine. I think it’s a great picture. Richard Misrach, the photographer, didn’t know his picture was going to get that exposure until he saw Steve Jobs unveil the iPad on stage last January.

“What’s funny is that for years I actually used the photo as my own screensaver,” Misrach says. “So I guess they know what they’re doing.”

One word justification for iPad

Friends and family often ask me to justify the use of my iPad with questions like “What are you doing with your iPad at home ?” or “What can you do on your iPad that you can’t with your computer”. These are very relevant questions, but my answers are sometimes hard to formulate.

I know have a single word answer that sums up my whole experience with the iPad, and this word is the name of an incredible application: Flipboard. Check it out.

iPhone 4 + 35mm lenses

This morning, my friend JiPé linked to a guy who built a steadicam for his iPhone 4.

He should meet with those guy who built a 35mm lens adapter for iPhone 4 and shoot a full length movie together.

(thanks maxyme)

Amanda Palmer’s Radiohead Cover on ukulele

The weather is too hot to listen to Radiohead, but their music is still good.

That’s why I just bought Amanda Palmer Performs The Popular Hits Of Radiohead On Her Magical Ukulele. You can pay as low as $0.87 USD, but I suggest you give a little bit more for those 7 tracks.

Also, I must note that the Bandcamp service rocks.

Pourtant…
